The Wooff Pack Dog Grooming Salon is looking for a motivated, reliable person to join our team and train as a professional dog groomer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves dogs, enjoys hands-on work, and is keen to learn a skilled trade within a growing small business.
About the role...
This is a trainee position where you will be trained on the job in all aspects of dog grooming, including:
- Bathing, drying, brushing, and coat preparation
- Handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Assisting with grooms and gradually learning full grooming skills
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and calm salon environment
- Providing a positive experience for both dogs and their owners
About you...
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience with dogs, personally or professionally
- Has good customer service skills and can make our valued customers feel welcomed
- Is physically fit and understands this is a very hands-on, physically demanding role
- Has a strong desire to learn a new skill and develop into a confident dog groomer
- Is reliable, punctual, and has a positive attitude
- Is willing to commit long-term to working with a small, growing business
- Is calm, patient, and gentle with animals
- Can work well both independently and as part of a small team
